Are You Registered to Vote?

The City of DeSoto will be hosting a voter education pop-up session on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 9:30 am - 11 am at the DeSoto Senior Center.

A representative from the Dallas County Elections Department will be presenting information on several topics to discuss the following topics. There will also b be a Q&A Session for Voter Registration, Voting & Election Process, Election Judges & Poll Workers, Voter ID Requirements, and Ballot by Mail Process.

Able to Work Fair

On behalf of the City of DeSoto and Mayor Rachel L. Proctor, you're invited to come out to the "Able to Work" Forum and Opportunities Fair for individuals with special needs, elder and differently abled residents.

This event will take place on October 22, 2022 from 11:00am until 1:30pm at DeSoto City Hall located at 211 E. Pleasant Run Road.

Plaza de DeSoto

Experience the DeSoto Public Library as you never have before, as it is transformed into a Latin American Plaza on Saturday October 15, 2022 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!

La Plaza de DeSoto will feature performances, craft booths, snacks, live alpacas, Spanish language activities, and even an indoor soccer tournament!

Pack your bags for an afternoon of fun and fiesta, as you explore a traditional Latin American town center!
